Job Description

Quality Specialist - (QMS) Our client, a Medical Device Software Company, is looking to expand and needs a professional who implements a new EQMS. This contract is outside of IR35 and mainly remote with occasional visits to the London office.Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant regulations and standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
  • Conducting regular internal audits to assess QMS effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous quality enhancement.
  • Participating in external audits and inspections, as necessary, and leading efforts to address any findings.
  • Providing training and guidance to team members on QMS procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR).
  • Prior experience in a QMS role within the medical device or healthcare software industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and regulatory authorities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to analyze complex information to ensure compliance and quality.
