Job Description

Your new companyMy client, a high-growth Medtech company, is looking for a Quality Officer to join their team to promote high standards and ensure regulatory compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful individual to progress in their career in an innovativeorganisation that pushes the boundaries of the medical device industry.Your new roleIn your new role as Quality Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of quality activities as well as working collaboratively within the team to ensure the product meets regulatory requirements.Key attributes of the role include:

  • Development, implementation and maintenance of the QMS
  • Conduct internal audits & support external audits as well as carrying out preparation activities.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Control processes including inspection and testing readiness to ensure high product standards.
  • Lead in managing document control processes including SOPs, working instructions and records.
  • Investigate and address non-conformances, deviations & customer complaints implementing CAPAs as necessary.
  • Promote continuous improvement methods driving quality initiatives to enhance company performance and overall product quality.
What youll need to succeedTo be considered for the position of Quality Assurance Officer, you will need the following:
  • A Bachelors degree in Life Sciences related subject or related field.
  • At least 4 years experience in Quality Assurance in a Medical Device (preferred) or Pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality standards and regulations - including ISO13458 & FDA regulations.
  • Experience with all QMS activities, CAPAs, Deviations, internal and external audits, SOPs, continuous improvement methods.
  • Excels in a collaborative environment with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
