Qualitative / Mixed Methods UX Researcher for Authoring (AR/VR)A global powerhouse within the social media industry are looking for a Qualitative / Mixed MethodsUX Researcher for Authoring (AR/VR) to join their team on a 12 month contract. The role will be onboarded remotely before eventually joining the team onsite in London.The team is building towards the future by enabling a global community of creators and developers to imagine, create and share augmented reality experiences that reach the billions of people using their family of apps and devices.As a research team, they see our role as advocating for users, and arming their product teams with the insights and inspiration they need to build with confidence.Theyre looking for a talented researcher to join our Spark AR Research team to provide insights that will help scale the platform and help the creators to achieve their ambitions. That research will range from foundational studies to inform what they build and how they build it, through to tactical studies to steer product development and drive quality.SkillsThey are looking for a qualitative or mixed method generalist, with broad skills in design research methods, and a good understanding of basic quantitative methods (e.g. surveys). Youll be working closely with their product teams to build better authoring tools for our community of AR creators.The right candidates will be strong communicators and relationship builders, deeply knowledgeable about digital design and design research, passionate about AR/VR, and will feel excited by an autonomous position where youll be expected to seek out impact and ruthlessly prioritise your own workload, with guidance and support from your manager.Preferred candidates will have experience in conducting impactful research to steer digital creative products, especially if its related to AR/VR.Education / Experience
