This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental toolsets Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals Passionate about building an innovative culture Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement Self-starter and willing to work in a fast-paced trading environment with constantly evolving priorities. Ability to own multiple streams of work and to organize self and others to deliver in a timely fashion Genuine interest in finance; willing to learn Project ownership and management skills Desirable Skills: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent Knowledge of Python. Experience with SecDB / Athena / Quartz platform. Derivatives, FX Business knowledge Candidate will be expected to: Participate in the design phase and interact with various team other technology team and stakeholders, Work closely with front office desk. Build and maintain existing platforms using state of the art proprietary technology from JPMorgan Chase. Write documentation. Train and on-board our production management team. Provide first level support to front office and second level support in some cases.
