Job Description

In so doing, they seek to make a positive, sustainable contribution to both the UK economy and society.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Python Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in London with remote work available.Purpose of the Role:

  • As a Python Developer you will be joining a team that works on a mix of existing and new features of a client clearing platform. The platform is a source for client clearing limits and it aggregates and displays client clearing risk to multiple businessuser groups.
As a Python Developer you will be responsible for:
  • To work on all aspects of the platform, this will include the various processes that run on the server, the database, the infrastructure and Web UI enhancements.
  • Daily collaboration with Developers, Business Analysts and other development teams.
  • Strong driver for Agile development and for automated testing.
  • Take ownership of projects and developments, able to propose constructive solutions and implement them.
  • Be proactive in discussing issues and helping colleagues in all locations.
What we require from the candidate:Essential skills / attributes:
  • Python development experience (Expert level).
  • Experience with Angular.
  • Knowledge of TDD.
  • Strong interest in automated testing and deployment.
  • Pragmatic and flexible, able to balance technical optimisation vs business delivery.
  • A passion for automation, improvement and simplicity.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
