Job Description

MLC Partners are recruiting multiple Purchase Ledger clerks, on an interim basis, full time and part time. If you are available immediately, with a strong background in the key criteria listed below - apply now!This role involves handling invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. The roles are responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and adhering to the organisation’s policies and procedures.Key responsibilities:

  • Receive and review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Code and classify invoices appropriately, ensuring proper allocation of expenses to the respective accounts.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for payment processing.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, and evaluate and monitor vendor performance, addressing any issues that may arise.
About you:
  • Proven experience in purchase ledgers/accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
