This Authority are looking for someone confident and to be able to hit the ground running, they have a range of projects they need help with the you will get the support you need to be able to achieve this. The role as a Public Health Intelligence Analyst:Leading on C19 and C19 recovery periodAble to conduct weekly updates, drawing data from a range of sources and being able to present these findings to internal and external stakeholdersCollate, analyse, interpret and present complex insight and intelligence on health and determinants of health.Well versed in Statistics and health DataAble to use a range of software applicationsStrong Public Health background would be an advantage in particular epidemiology and experience of JSNA. You as a Public Health Intelligence Analyst: An expert understanding of the national and local context for and operations of public health. Ability to analyse a range of data, including the use of statistical techniques, to support evidence based decision making for commissioning, service design and strategy development Experience of epidemiology approaches to support the planning and development of public health priorities including accounting for the public health competency frameworkExperience of supporting the development of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment process, working closely with staff across the council, clinical commissioning group, and the wider health partnership.Relevant postgraduate professional qualification or equivalent experience of public health analysisThis role is for 3 months in the first instance, with a strong possibility of extension.
