Public Relations Executive - Global Asset Manager

Job Description

Our client is a leading global asset manager with a broad range of successful funds.They are hiring a PR Executive to work in their Corporate Communications team. They are ideally looking for fluency in a European language (German, French or Spanish).Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor media coverage daily, and manage reporting on a regular basis. Take ownership of the distribution of weekly media coverage emails to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that important media coverage affecting the business is shared with the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Draft press releases, articles, commentaries, social media posts and other PR and communications documents to the highest standard and with a creative flair. Proofread all written materials to ensure that excellent written communication is achieved.
  • Develop relationships with journalists from key publications.
  • Help with day to day management of PR agencies.
  • Manage media enquiries including the supply of standard communication content and/or escalate enquiries with the team and stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Help to manage the companys Twitter account.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, ideally possess proven media relations experience gained in the asset management industry (either in-house or agency), the ability to handle highly sensitive issues with journalists, excellentwriting/editing and stakeholder management skills and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines in a pressurised and fast paced environment. Fluency in a European language(German, French or Spanish) is desirable.
