Behaviour Mentor - Pupil Referral Unit in Hackney Central, London. I am actively seeking an engaging and passionate Behaviour Mentor to work in a PRU setting that provides education to students who are unable to be taught in a mainstream school due totheir behaviour difficulties. The role is non class based and is working across the Unit with individual students who require additionalmentoring. Behaviour Mentor - Pupil Referral Unit - What to expectThe role will involve working with children that display challenging behaviourAssessing and accommodating individual learning needs of studentsWorking closely with individual children and tailoringthe lesson to their needsEncouraging the social and emotional development of pupilsFull-Time Behaviour Mentor role for the academic year based in Hackney Central£70-£75 a day - Weekly PAYEThese students will likely be from disadvantaged backgrounds, havingexperienced childhood trauma and potentially involved in gang related issues, therefore, will not want to get involved and will disrupt the class with challenging behaviour.
