Job Description

Our Client, a leading Global Central Laboratory in the Life Science sector has a fantastic opportunity for a Proposal/RFI Manager to join their Operational team. Building on the foundations of innovation and science, their refreshed business reflects the breadth of an expanded central laboratory, biomarker and IVD offerings. These range from research and development through to clinical studies and commercialization of therapies.Due to their ongoing success, they are looking for an experienced Proposal/RFI Manager to join their team. The role is home-based and out of the UK.The successful candidate will join a Proposal Management team tasked with the creation, maintenance and development of proposals, RFI’s and other associated documentation.The RoleSummary of Duties:

  • Proposal & RFI management tasks on strategic / complex projects
  • Preparation of compelling, strategic RFI / proposal documents, including rigorous quality control and timeline adherence
  • Lead the proposal response and partner with Business Development, Operations and Management as needed.
  • Contribute strategic operational content to proposals/RFI’s
  • Review and revise proposal content as needed to ensure a clear, compelling strategy to execute the project is articulated.
  • Assist with departmental initiatives, process improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Provide regular accurate updates on all outstanding proposal / RFI documents to Management
  • Adhere to proposal/RFI management processes
  • Stay abreast of latest industry tactics and strategies regarding proposal development
    • The post holder will be expected to perform other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed above are offered as an overview of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.Key RequirementsTo be successful in this position, you will:
  • Be educated to Bachelor’s degree level in business or life science (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge of operating in a proposal / RFI management related role, preferably within the Laboratory / Pharmaceutical /CRO industry.
  • Possess above average attention to detail, accuracy and flexibility
  • Have strong organisational / planning, interpersonal and team-orientated skills.
  • Excellent written skills and experience in customising strategic proposal responses
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
    • In return for meeting the above criteria the Proposal/RFI Manager will be rewarded with a basic salary of circa £45,000 per annum plus benefits.
