EA Recruitment have been instructed by our client, a well established reputable independent estate agency covering the areas of Camden, Highbury and Islington to recruit an experienced Property Manager to join their professional team.As the Property Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day requirements of the managed property portfolio including maintenance (both planned and emergency), chasing rent arrears, ensuring that all compliance is met (EPCs, Gas Safety Certs,EICR) and dealing with check ins, check outs.You will be working closely with the lettings team to identify opportunities to increase the managed portfolio and generate more revenue for the business.The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a Property Manager, have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and focused on a long term working relationship.Interviews are taking place now!The role: Dealing with a portfolio of approx. 100 propertiesDealing with property maintenance, both planned and emergencyLiaising with contractors, obtaining quotations and getting authorisation for worksEnsuring compliance is met: EPCs, Gas safety certs, EICRsProducing administration required: ASTs, amendments to tenanciesRenewalsCheck ins and check outsInspectionsRent Arrears and Rent CollectionsDeposit returns and disputesServing Section noticesBuilding strong working relationships with Landlords and TenantsWorking closely with the Lettings department to minimise voidsIdentifying opportunities to generate new businessExperience/Skills required:2 + years experience in a Residential Property Management rolePreferably ARLA qualifiedMust have a driving licenceA thorough knowledge of all aspects of the Lettings processOrganised, ability to prioritise workloadGreat communication and follow up skillsPackage offered:£27k- £32k salary (negotiable depending on experience)Opportunity to develop your career/progressGreat working environmentWorking hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm
