Job Description

Property Claims AdjusterLondonUp to £43,000 + BenefitsOur client is one of the highest performing Lloyd’s Syndicate’s in the market and, due to growth, they require a knowledgeable Commercial Property Claims professional to join their Non-Marine Claims team.Purpose of RoleProviding support in the adjustment, management and administration of the companys international Property Claims.Responsibilities

  • Handling complex international Property Claims within authority.
  • Dealing with referrals on claims within authority.
  • Liaising with Underwriters and updating them on claims developments, as well as assisting in the preparation and delivery of the monthly class of business claims report.
  • Liaising with the Outwards Reinsurance team, ensuring that they are aware of developments on significant claims which may impact reinsurances.
  • Building and maintaining the companys profile with Claims Brokers and key external experts.
  • Preparing and/or reviewing initial set up of claims entries.
  • Assisting the claims team with preparation and analysis of MI.
  • Reviewing daily SCM and highlighting claims which need further review.
  • Assisting the Director of Claims in monitoring the performance of the claims management outsource service provider.
  • Supporting catastrophe management by preparing reports and investigating exposure on accounts deemed to be impacted.
    • Requirements
  • Proven international Non-Marine claims experience in the Lloyd’s / London market.
  • Experience of Property and Property Treaty Claims is preferable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
