Job Description

This is a small, dynamic, and exceptionally talented team, deeply focused on producing exceptional results. The primary programming language used in this team is Rust, but they will be interested in speaking to individuals with similar experience in Javaand/or C++.This firm has developed one of the world’s most robust trading platforms designed to navigate issues unique to the digital assets markets, and working here will give you the opportunity to be deeply embedded in every major sector of the cryptocurrency eco-system.Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and optimise high-performance low-latency trading systems using Rust (also Java and C++), ensuring they remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code meticulously optimised for low-latency, high throughput, and seamless scalability.
  • Work closely with the team of quant analysts/researchers, as well as fellow developers, DevOps engineers and IT support teams to guarantee the flawless operation of trading systems.
Desired Skills:
  • Programming excellence: Strong expertise in Rust/Java/C++, including multithreading, concurrency, and networking.
  • Expertise in low-latency trading systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of WebSocket, HTTP and FIX protocols
  • Familiarity with TCP and UDP (unicast and multicast)
  • Optimisation: Demonstrated ability to write garbage collection-free/ zero copy code
  • Market Understanding: Familiarity with financial markets and trading systems.
