Job Description

One of the UKs fastest growing Challenger Banks who aim to make banking accessible for everyone are looking for a contract Project Manager to actively own, oversee, coordinate and manage the successful PSD2 implementation project. This is an outside IR35contract position for an initial 6 months with a high possibility of extension.Requirements of the Project Manager include:

  • Knowledge around APIs
  • Experience implementing PSD2 specifications
  • +3 years experience managing digital banking projects
  • Strong knowledge of digital banking functionality
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 desirable
  • Excellent communication, organizational and documentation skills.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
  • Scheduling strict timelines and driving the teams operational efficiency
  • Identify potential risks and issues, maintaining logs and contingency plans
  • Coordinate all working groups involved and manage/lead the Project Team
  • Manage Project financials by providing forecasts to ensure project remains within budget
  • Key engagement in the overall planning process of resources to ensure project deliverables met
A flexible working environment without obligation to be in the office every day. This contract opportunity offers a day rate of £450-550 outside IR35.
