Job Description

This London-based specialist insurance firm is looking to recruit a Project Manager with experience working for a start-up and an extensive background in insurance.The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of client projects. Duties will include planning, designing, executing and monitoring every aspect of a specific project. Depending on the requirements of the client multiple projectsat a time.Key aspects of the role

  • Assessment of client projects as key part of onboarding process
  • Ongoing assessment of client project performance
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
  • Produce reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
  • Participate in the Companys budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement in client projects
  • Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of relevant investment regulations or policies
  • Develop models that help with decision-making
This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to accelerate your career with a rapidly expanding firm. Salary range is £75,000 - £90,000 dependent on experience and there is a generous profit share scheme as well as a bonus. There will be an opportunityto join the share option scheme in future (subject to qualification requirements).The successful applicant will have a bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and a recognised Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA) would be highly beneficial although not essential. You will have 2-4 years of relevant experiencein infrastructure project management ideally with a good knowledge of the insurance industry and other related fields. Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modelling is essential as is an understanding of project management softwareIf you have excellent active listening and analytical skills, high attention to accuracy and detail, and can work on your own initiative then this could be the ideal role for you. This is a collaborative environment with strong growth ambitions, so a flexibleattitude is key and most importantly we need a team player with outstanding communication skills and the desire to achieve together.This is a permanent role paying £75,000 - £90,000 depending on experience. This opportunity offers hybrid working with 3 days working in the central London office and 2 days working from home.
