Job Description

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Project Manager-ETRCM for a contract until December 2024 based in London. It will be a hybrid working model.Purpose of the Role:The ETRCM (Electronic Trading Risk & Control Management) team is an independent 1st Line of Defense Risk & Control team dedicated to eTrading, specifically Algo Trading. The primary purpose of the Project Manager role within the ETRCM RR&I team is to contributeto the effective management and delivery of projects essential to the Electronic Trading Risk & Control Management function.As a Project Manageryou will be responsible to:

  • Contribute to Steering Groups and provide regular reporting to the central program.
  • Engage in project management office (PMO) activities to ensure effective governance.
  • Manage two of the four key areas within the allocated budget, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology project managers to track commitments made to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the delivery of specific remediation items owned by ETRCM, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
What we require from the candidate:
  • Several years of experience in eTrading and/or eTrading Regulatory Change.
  • Proven ability to execute and deliver results, emphasizing a hands-on approach.
  • Capability to work independently while fostering collaboration within the wider team.
  • Familiarity with Algo Trading systems and regulatory frameworks.
