Job Description

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Project Manager for a 6 month contract based in London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in office).Deutsche Bank is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. There are also a number of highly skilled functions performing key management tasks.Together were sharing new perspectives and transforming what it means to be a bank.Purpose of the role:DWS is one of the worlds leading investment management organisations, offering individuals and institutions traditional and alternative investments across all major asset classes. It is undergoing a period of substantial and exciting change. DWS listedas a public company on the Frankfurt stock exchange in March 2018. DWS is now undertaking a significant transformation to implement state-of-the-art infrastructure aligned to the needs of an asset manager.The CFO Division of DWS has presence in Frankfurt, London, New York and Asia and is responsible for ensuring the sound risk management and financial governance of DWS. The CFO Division comprises Risk, Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A),Integrated Reporting, Regional CFO teams, Tax, Capital & Liquidity Management, Finance Director teams for the Investment Platform, Coverage and Infrastructure functions and the COO team.The COO team is responsible for the strategy and execution, governance, resource allocation, change management and control oversight for the CFO Division.Key responsibilitiesAs part of the SAP 4 Hana adoption programme this role will focus on one or more functional areas that will typically impact across different country (releases) for this programme. Key components of the role will be:

  • Manage process definition for workstream scope.
  • Manage requirements capturing and definition.
  • Track build and configuration to plan.
  • Manage delivery of project documentation (e.g., KOPs, Controls, etc.)
  • Manage delivery and adoption plan in close collaboration with IT.
  • Coordinating activities from data sources, FIL, and downstream with the S4 and SAP BW.
  • Ensure SIT script coverage comprehensive; monitor results.
  • Coordinate UAT test script / scenario creation with GPO and end users.
  • Completion and sign off for the UAT phase.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven project management capability demonstrated through successful delivery programmes within Financial Services.
  • Relevant and demonstrable experience in designing and documenting requirements for transformation programmes in Finance - SAP S4 Hana (SAP FPSL).
  • Experience with business/data analysis within financial services showing strong analytical skills and clear problem-solving capabilities.
