Job description - the roleOur client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Project Manager / Business Analyst (BA) - Treasury to work in their Treasury team based in London on a PAYE basis.Overview: Treasury is part of the Finance division with the Group Treasurer reporting to the Group CFO. The function is responsible for the sourcing, management and optimisation of liquidity and capital to deliver high-value risk management decisions. This is underpinnedby a best-in-class risk framework that enables Treasury to identify the Banks resource demands, set incentives by allocating resource costs to businesses and manage to evolving regulation.Treasurys mandate, which encompasses the Banks funding strategy, Asset and Liability management (ALM) and management of liquidity reserves, supports businesses in delivering on their strategic targets at global and local level. Treasury manages the optimizationof all financial resources to implement the groups strategic objective and maximize long-term return on shareholders equity. The Group Treasurer is based in London and the Treasury function operates across the globe with major hubs in Frankfurt, London,Singapore and New York.Key responsibilities:* Leading and managing projects or workstreams within a larger programme with a focus on ensuring that the relevant and appropriate analyses are performed, shaped in appropriate management information and presented to the relevant governance bodies and committees* Close collaboration with the wider programme group to ensure alignment with programme principles and objectives* Ensuring the documentation and tracking of programme/project relevant (inter-) dependencies, risks, issues, actions for mitigations and other related artefacts* Ensuring that an appropriate governance structure is in place, providing a targeted status reporting on a regular basis including transparency on risks, issues, and dependencies, as well as making recommendations on any required decisions* Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems which includes user case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution.Skills and Qualifications:* Experienced Business Analyst with excellent academic record and qualifications with up to 8 - 10 years work experience as a business analyst with direct experience of Financial Markets & Treasury products and system* Excellent technical accounting mindset with an understanding of hedge accounting and banking products, including derivatives.* Experience of managing change projects with a Finance / Treasury Function* Strong analytical background and attention to detail, proficient in creating business documents, shaping design solution, and ability to develop and execute test plans* Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, MS ProjectAbout the clientDeutsche Banks Values:Our values define the working environment we strive to create - diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
