Job Description

We are looking for a qualified, experienced and professional Project Manager who has experience on £5m+ new build and residential projects.Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for project planning, implementation and control. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the new build environment.Responsibilities include:Responsible for project planning, implementation, and control. Overseeing the work of project engineers, site managers/foremen and junior project managers.

  • Pre-contract planning - developing a schedule for project completion
  • Implementing the project - manage day-to-day operational aspects; monitor progress and take actions to deal with the results of delays; allocate resources; quality control; health & safety control
  • Project Control - report writing, monitor expenditures and cash flow projections
  • Evaluation - ensure deliverables are on time, in budget and required level of quality
    • Key Skills
  • Knowledge of building, material components, building regulations and H&S
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure when required;
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and consultants
  • Knowledge of various forms of contract
  • Experience of £5m+ projects
  • Experience in NZEB and/or Passivhaus builds
  • General knowledge of current industry developments
    • Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial experience
  • Proficient in general IT application such as MS Word, Excel, Project, Access etc
  • Experience in specialist IT such as AutoCAD and Revit is desirable
