Job Description

Project Manager (Finance Industry)London12 Month contract £400 - 500 per day via Umbrella Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Change Management Group in the capacity of managing the Client Communications Workstream. This role is based at our London office, with ahybrid work arrangement of 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote.Role Overview:As the Project Manager for the Client Communications Workstream, you will be responsible for managing and delivering specific aspects of the project, reporting to the Change Management Group. This role involves working closely with a diverse team, handlingmultiple projects and change initiatives, and ensuring strategic alignment between business objectives and executed projects.Key Role and Daily Tasks:

  • Complete assigned tasks within agreed timeframes, self-managing day-to-day standard activity tasks.
  • Act as a key interface between business end-users and the Project/Programme Manager.
  • Maintain project documentation and consult with workstream leads and other key project personnel.
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and providing analytics to support recommendations.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the implementation of approved changes.
  • Manage and deliver smaller scale projects independently or under light supervision.
  • Be an active team member, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Knowlegde in financial services, markets, and banking activities, and/or the surrounding regulatory framework.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including presenting complex information simply and succinctly.
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under supervision.
  • Good time management skills, capable of working to deadlines in an ambiguous environment and under pressure.
  • Industry-recognised Project Management qualification preferred but not essential.
