Job Description

At Anglo American, The Elimination of Fatalities (EoF) Programme includes a number of Group-wide projects impactingsystems, processes and people. Effective project management and reporting are essential to ensuring thesuccess of these projects.KEY TASKS1. Smartsheet Project Management:· To work with EoF PMO and workstream leads to update and maintain project plans on Smartsheetensuring clear actionable deliverables relevant to Business Unit stakeholders.· Assist with data migration, data updates and associated reporting activities for internal audiences.2. Reporting:· Supporting monthly and quarterly reporting updates internally in Anglo American (Technical&Sustainability, OpCo, PLC Board, Business Units) managing data inputs in Smartsheet andassociated outputs (e.g. PowerPoint presentations)3. Engagement: Support:· Creation of content and administration of workstream-wide mobilisation and collaboration activitiesincluding Business Unit Workshops and Programme-wide engagement activities· Programme-wide engagement activities to promote collaboration and demonstrate impact of the EoFprogrammeKnowledge of: · Project management in large and complex organisations - essential · The extractive industries, preferably mining with an appreciation of the business drivers and challenges for safety - desirableAbility to: Understand and apply an up-to-date knowledge of the principles and concepts of project management while supporting others in understanding these fundamental principles and concepts. ·Understand, interpret, analyse and challenge the results of qualitative and quantitative data and for the purposes of effective project management and project reporting.· Support the implementation of global projects through effective, clear planning and project management skills · Provide clear structure and planning processes to complex tasks ensuring objectives are met within allocated timeframes · Use a variety of digital project management and collaboration platforms (e.g. Smartsheet, Miro, Lucid Chart MS Teams, SharePoint) · Interpret complex information into digestible formats esp. via PowerPoint
