Project Controls EngineerAn Exciting opportunity for an experienced, Permanent, Project Controls Engineer at a Global Project Management firm based in Cork, Ireland, offering competitive benefits such as flexible working hours,generous salary increases and an excellent bonus structure.The Company:My client is a Global Project Management powerhouse known for their excellence, innovation and specialism. As a global leader, they are seeking a highly capable Project Controls Engineer with experience within the Pharmaceutical industry, who is able to efficiently manage client accounts and projects from conceptualisation and design through to the final delivery of the product on time and within budget.With over 190 engineers spread across their Irish and European offices, all on permanent contracts, my client is aiming to increase their portfolio with driven, ambitious and confident Engineers.Project Controls Engineer Role:

  • Perform project control activities (cost-, schedule- & scope management) in capital projects.
  • Create and sustain processes, systems, tools & templates for project controls.
  • Present project portfolio status reports.
  • Actively engage and provide professional support to project teams in the areas of Project Controls by sharing best practices.
  • Manage and resolve technical issues or changes arising throughout the Engineering project life cycle while ensuring the overall project objectives of scope, cost and schedule are adhered to.
  • Leading and planning site meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Overseeing large CapEx Projects valuing up to (€200m).
    • Project Controls Engineer Requirements:
  • Proven record of accomplishment in successfully completing complex capital projects.
  • 5-8 years Project Controls experience in Pharmaceuticals Building Construction or Mission Critical Data Center industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling program.
  • MS Excel, SAP and Project Management applications experience.
  • Strong problem solving capability, leveraging structure process driven approach to problem solving.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Based in Ireland or willing to relocate.
