Job Description

Programme Manager - Hybrid - London - 6 Month Contract - £700 - £800 per day outside IR35 - SC ClearedOur client, a multinational leader in the defence sector is looking for an experienced Programme Manager with an Aerospace background to join them on an exciting NEW project!You will get the opportunity to work on an exciting programme which will be integral to the MODs communication and satellite projects. Along with the generous day rate, the successful candidate will enjoy frequent visits to our clients in the USA - ALL EXPENSESPAID!This contract is initially 6 months (with extensions likely) on a hybrid basis working 2 days on site per week in London.You must hold an sole British passport and an active SC Security Clearance to be considered for this opportunity!The Key Responsibilities of a Programme Manager:

  • Managing payload
  • Chair meetings and discussions
  • Work across the full lifecycle
  • Build and maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage with international stakeholders at bid stage
  • Management of US and UK teams
Below is a list of Key Skills required for theProgramme Manager role, however you will not be expected to have everything:
  • Aerospace experience is essential
  • Experience delivering complex engineering projects across the entire lifecycle
  • Experience working of large-scale programme exceeding £50million - £100 million
  • Knowledge of aircraft communication systems
  • Prince2 Qualification
