For furtherinformation about Nomura, visit www.nomura.comRole Description / Principal AccountabilitiesProduction Services team member in the Future & Options Production Services team.The primary responsibility of the team is to provide 1st and 2nd line production support of our electronic trading platforms, DMA, STP and middle office post trade allocation systems across the F&O business. An ability to analyse and support electronic tradeinformation, market data, middle office allocation and risk from various platforms is essential. The electronic trading platform architecture consists of multiple external/internal applications designed to facilitate the successful execution of trades.The ideal candidate will have strong technical and business knowledge of the F&O space, including client on-boarding, and the requirements of running within a fast paced environment with a proactive approach.Skills & Experience Required

  • Unix/Windows/SQL
  • Scripting - Python/Perl/Bash
  • FIX Message Protocol
  • Experience working with Exchange connectivity -setting up network routes
  • Self-Starter- Ability to independently investigate and resolve issues for the users.
  • Ownership and Communication of issues.
  • Customer Service focused mentality.
  • Experience working in a busy Production Support environment.
  • Working knowledge of F&O/Equities products and flows.
  • Experience with electronic trading applications have and connectivity to external trading applications to send/retrieve information.
  • Working knowledge of STP and DMA applications
  • Able to navigate in UNIX Windows proficiently, reading and understanding the UNIX file system.
  • Able to demonstrate automation/efficiency improvement tasks
  • A good understanding of ITIL practices.
  • Proactive /can lead and guide other members in the team when needed
  • Able to troubleshoot problems in multiple environments.
  • Ability to accurately document and share information with global peer group.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and work towards tight deadlines.
  • Able to handle a fast paced trading environment.
  • Experience of monitoring software and maintainingimproving rule bases.
Preferred Skills
  • F&O/Equities product experience
  • Autosys setup and configuration
  • Familiarity raising incidents and problems using ServiceNow
Working HoursThere is a requirement to work early and later shifts (7:30am - 4:30pm and 9:00am - 6:00pm), on a rota basis.
