London Based Investment Bank seek a ION Marketview Application Support Engineer - Detailed knowledge of the entire ION stack including MMI (136), D2C and D2D gateways, PXE, VMO, VMQ, and STP. Detailed knowledge of the Fixed Income electronic trading venues,both D2D and D2C. Detailed understanding of Fixed Income trade flows (pricing, quoting, RFQ, STP, settlement, regulatory reporting etc). Good understanding infrastructure underpinning the ION platform, including Networks, Linux (including scripting) and Databases(including basic SQL). Experience of all levels of support within a front office environment, demonstrating an understanding of incident and problem management. This particular role will reside within the Bonds squad, which is part of the Electronic Tradingand Distribution Area. The Bonds squad is responsible for supporting the ION Marketview trading platform, providing all levels of support to the trading desks, monitoring the ION platform to proactively prevent issues, and handling problem resolution/enhancementrequests from first call to testing and releasing changes into production. Approximately 30% of the role will involve support, while the rest of the time will be spent implementing commercial and maintenance changes, handling the whole change from requirements,liaising with ION, testing and release. Experience of delivering changes within an ION platform, from requirements gathering to implementation. Including a good understanding of change management processes. Experience of Bloomberg TOMS would be desirable butnot essential. The role involves participation in a support rota (7:00am start) and out of hours support. £700 per day Umbrella Company Rate, 6 months rolling contract.
