Job Description

Position Title: Product Support SpecialistLocation: Central LondonAssignment duration: Very Urgent (9 Months)Bonus Plan: Company Plan (yearly)Hourly rate: £23.24 - £28.48Project Overview: Mobile Networks provide last mile data connectivity to more than 1 billion users today and are becoming critical for delivering an affordable and smooth user experience for users. As a team member on the Access workstream, you will be collaborating withproduct and business teams to drive growth and improvement opportunities through partnership with Mobile Network Operators. By managing the technical relationship with an understanding of their business objectives and values, you will drive partnership successthrough the effective adoption of our product offerings. You will be responsible for the technical implementations as well as integrations between some of the biggest MNOs and the platform.Overall Responsibilities:

  • Help others deploy technology: Provide technical guidance to partners and field teams deploying solutions.
  • Analyze software problems: Provide API, SDK, software troubleshooting
  • Partners: debug customer applications, provide software architecture guidance to partners, and handle business, product, or technical questions via phone, web, email.
  • Resolve technical issues at root cause: Identify and document bugs and feature requests affecting partners; implement effective solutions to their problems along business-appropriate time lines; author documentation and code samples;
  • Improve and innovate software and solutions: Work closely with developers, product managers, and technical Sales teams to improve products;
  • influence product design,develop product code, and/or participate in contract negotiations.
Skill/Experience/Education
  • Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Industry experience in technical support, professional services, engineering Experience working with one or more of the following programming languages: C/C++, Java, Go or Python and experience with Unix/Linux systems with scripting experience in Shell,Perl or Python.
  • Experience troubleshooting using common web technologies such as XML, HTML and/or JavaScript
  • Experience with SQL and database platforms is must. Strong Data Analysis experience with large data sets. experience working with APIs;
  • Desired Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications: Telco industry experience including familiarity with both fixed and cellular network technology.
  • Familiarity with Mobile OEM business and mobile device capabilities.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong team player and a creative thinker
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills and outstanding organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to speak to both business and technical stakeholders.
