Job Description

" data-test-description="">Product Owner - Ecommerce & WebPermanent | Hybrid (Central London) 3/2 Office / Home (Part Time hours considered)to £55,000 + 5% bonus and excellent benefitsThis is an inhouse role for a creative business in Central London. They seek a Product Owner across Ecommerce & Web to take responsibility for all digital service delivery across Ecommerce and other WordPress websites for the business. Leading a Front EndFull Stack and an Azure Engineer (hosting), this is a new and broad role that will encompass a number of key areas and deliverables requiring a good degree of technical acumen within the web / digital space.Responsibilities:

  • Supplier management relating to web and ecommerce.
  • Acting as the face of IT for internal customers on all technical matters relating to WordPress and ecommerce sites; customer stakeholder management will be a key part of this role.
  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, work on roadmaps, solutions and support the team in delivery.
  • Ensure the business units achieve their strategic goals from a Web / ecommerce point of view.
  • Deal with incoming requests for service; prioritizing, planning, scheduling, project managing the workload of the team and deliverables.
  • Supporting the technical lead on matters around Domain Management and API development and acting as technical escalation point.
  • Continual Service Improvement; define specific initiatives aimed at improving services and processes, based on the results of service reviews and process evaluations.
  • Work with the Security and Compliance team to manage security incidents and respond to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Head of D2C to support strategic growth objectives.
About youThe employer is looking for someone with one of the following backgrounds:
  • Product Owner - Ecommerce or Web
  • Digital Project Manager - Ecommerce or Web
  • Web Developer looking for a move into leadership, project management, product management.
Other
  • You will have very good communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders, manage expectations and project deliverables.
  • You will be technically competent in one or more of these areas: web design, UX, APIs or WordPress, possibly looking to take greater ownership from a budget, leadership or team point of view, but still utilise your technical experience as an escalationpoint.
  • Able to be creative and innovative in your approach to service delivery, continually looking for ways to improve service to the business.
  • Good broad understanding of Security and able to work more broadly with more technical parties within IT.
