The Global Project Management Office team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead our Project Office for Engineering Services. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projectsby providing strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership. The Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and maintain quality standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets.Key job responsibilities• Develop and implement program management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.• Coordinate a team of Project Managers and Engineers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.• Establish and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals, and ensure alignment with the organisation’s objectives.• Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track and within budget.• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects, and provide timely solutions.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimising project management processes and procedures.• Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in engineering services to drive innovation and excellence.• Position includes international travel up to 25%We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:• Luxemburg• UK• SpainWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:London, GBR | Manchester, GBRBASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related subject• Defined Product Management experience in a similar role• Experience managing technical products or online services• Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services• Experience manipulating and analysing data or • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup) at an advanced level• Strong writing skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level• Experience building and analysing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organisation• PMP certification is a plus• Bilingual in English and another language is a plusAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
