Job Description

Job title: Product Development Manager (Product Fund Launches)iKas International are recruiting on behalf of a market renowned asset manager based in London, who are currently seeking a talented and proactive Product Development Manager who can lead and manage fund launches and product alterations across multiple jurisdictions.You will have strong product development skills and strong presentation skills.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise the initiation of fund launches and modifications across diverse jurisdictions.
  • Define the scope of products, encompassing product conception, commercial viability, and operational feasibility assessments.
  • Create fund-related documentation such as fund prospectuses and relevant materials, collaborating with external legal advisors and internal teams when necessary.
  • Manage the entire product launch process via project management, ensuring adherence to product governance protocols by actively engaging in approval stages.
  • Ensure comprehensive consideration of regulatory requirements, encompassing ESG regulations, Volcker rule, and other pertinent guidelines affecting product design.
  • Contribute to spontaneous research initiatives exploring potential new fund structures and domiciles to diversify the existing product portfolio.
Required Skills:
  • Extensive background in a comparable position, actively engaged in overseeing a spectrum of products across various domiciles and fund architectures.
  • Profound comprehension of equities, fixed income, and alternative assets as distinct asset classes.
  • Proficiency in the technical aspects of UCITS/AIFs with an inclination to grasp the implications of emerging regulations.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects within stringent timelines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and self-motivation in professional endeavours.
