Job Description

A Global Social Media Company based in London is seeking a Product Designer to join their team on contract basis for 3 months.As a Product Designer, you will be expected to utilise your full range of design thinking, visual design and communication skills, and you will help shape the methods and processes used by teams.Youll be working on an initiative to improve the methods and processes by which they design experiences.Youll be consolidating, designing and creating content along with an internal site to share it. Youll be helping pull together materials, how-to-guides and an internal site to support the design teams across the organisation.Duties:

  • Co-ordinate with design partners across the org to work with and refine existing material.
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable.
  • Improve the information design and usability of design process guides and tools.
  • Designing and building an internal Wiki site to host the resources.
  • Solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
  • Partner with designers, researchers, content designers and program managers to oversee the user experience and launch the site.
Skills and experience:
  • Strong visual design and information design skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • Front-end programming
  • Experience in building and shipping applications or software
  • Provide URL featuring examples of interaction design work
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design
  • 5+ years experience
