Job Description

Trust in SODA are currently working with an exciting FinTech client based in Central London who are seeking a Product Designer to join their team. Youll play a key role in the development and success of their new acquisition product, personal loans across a portfolio of brands. You will be responsible for the product design including user research, user experience, visual design and maintaining theirdesign system. This role requires a hardworking, motivated and deadline driven individual who advocates user-centred design and uses data and insights to inform their decisions. You will be embedded into a development team that has ownership of this new product and are ultimatelyresponsible for its successful launch along with delivering an acquisition journey that works for their customers. Key accountabilities

  • Conceptualise, develop and craft innovative design solutions for their Own Brands products
  • Develop User Interface designs using knowledge of task flows, functionality requirements, Information Architecture, UI best practice and industry/company native interface standards
  • Collaborate with POs and development teams to ensure that the integrity of the experience is maintained through launch
  • Clearly communicate User Experience principles and design decisions to stakeholders and project team members
  • Champion user-centred design and usability principles
Additional responsibilities
  • Help frame problems, facilitate workshops and lead focus group activities
  • Hold and facilitate user research activities and present findings back to team members
Your Skills and Experience ESSENTIAL
  • Strong portfolio showcasing projects worked on and the results of your work
  • Expert knowledge in the use of Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced knowledge of User Experience, User Interface and User Research principles
  • Confident communicator with proven writing and visual communication skills
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools to demonstrate your design approach
  • Good analytical skills
  • Understanding of Accessibility standards (W3C)
  • Experience working within an Agile team (SCRUM/KANBAN)
