Job Description

Procurement Lead - Professional Services - Globally Renowned FMCG Brand - West London Based (Home Working) - £60,000 - £65,000 base + car allowance + exceptional bonus and wider packageThis world-famous brand is currently going through a procurement transformation in the UK and is actively growing the team based in London. They have a procurement vacancy in their indirect procurement team and are looking to hire a high calibre procurement professional to take the lead on the Professional Services procurement category. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, with credibility gained in a similar role and the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.The role

  • You will work in a team of 6 procurement professionals taking a lead role on all areas of professional services spend (c.£60M)
  • You will be responsible for working with the key stakeholders in the business to help design and execute a sourcing strategy for all professional services
  • You will lead all complex negotiations with suppliers across Big 4 and Magic Circle law firms
  • You will work with legacy suppliers to ensure that they are maintaining their high standards of delivery and addressing any areas for improvement
  • Manage multiple sourcing projects - juggling different steps of the sourcing life cycle but ensuring delivery for the business
  • Working with the UK&I procurement team and wider business to implement best in class procurement processes - using data and insights to expedite performance and growth
  • Work with different areas of the business to highlight procurements potential and increase addressable spend
    • The Skills and Experience Required
  • The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decision making processes and take ownership of highly complex supplier negotiations is keY
  • Ideally an in-depth procurement knowledge of the professional services category
  • A track record of delivering savings across a variety of indirect services is a must
  • A proactive mindset and eager to learn but highly collaborative with the ability to involve key stakeholders at each part of the sourcing lifecycle
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate key numerical findings
