Job Description

Not all of us work directly with external clients. The RoleThe Process Support team covers a number of processes and reporting requirements for the Firm and has a variety of stakeholders. The role available will involve working with the team and key stakeholders such as Financial Control, Finance, Government; Public Sector, Real Estate, Global Mobility , Office of General Council and subsidiary firms such as PwC Overseas Limited and PwC Foundation covering reporting, reconciliations, billing, recharges and payments. In addition there will be an expectation to review our existing processes and implement improvements where required, ensuring business as usual processes are migrated to the Service Delivery Centre team in Poland. Key AttributesAs a Senior Associate the individual should have a strong understanding of business, technical (including automation), analytical (including skills such as Alteryx and Power BI) and possess commercial skills and be able to apply their knowledge to provide supportto the Process Support Manager and wider stakeholders and be full or part qualifed accounting qualification such as an ACCA or CIMA. The individual should be enthusiastic to learn, able to prioritise, confident to communicate in both verbal and written forms and be a strong relationship builder. Previous experience of Source to Pay and Expense management systems is preferred. The Senior Finance Associate will play a key role in supporting the Manager in the following areas:• General Accounting • Process improvement using latest technology and methodology • Bringing new work into the team • Performance improvement • Financial control and compliance • Building relationships and sharing knowledge The individual will need to demonstrate the following attributes:• Excellent client service • Excellent time management skills • Ability to prioritise workload, asks questions and promotes best practice • Action oriented and enthusiastic to learn new tasks • Focussed on continuous improvement • Self-driven with an ability to work with minimum supervision • Ability to work well under pressure • An adaptable, flexible and positive attitude • Professional and energetic work ethic • Ability to work within a team environment
