Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and adapting thestrategic target operating model design to align with the rapid expansion plan for the private markets business
  • Evaluatestrategic growth and change initiatives and co-ordinate the development of overseas platformsincluding co-ordinating the assessment of the local statutory (tax, regulatory and legal) requirements and implications.
  • Corporate Structure Development and Rationalisation: Co-ordinate corporate entity development and restructuring initiatives to facilitate and optimise the Private Assets operating model
  • Working closely with the Group Strategy and Corporate Development team to provide evaluation, due diligence and integration planning support in relation to in-organic growth opportunities (external team lift outs and business acquisitions)
  • Leading on the evolution of the design of the key functional frameworks and/or procedures for core elements of the operating model
  • Identifying opportunities to further develop the operating model through enhancing capabilities, including people, processes, technology and governance
  • Creatingdocumentation and operating manuals, providing clear and concise visuals and descriptions
  • Provide SME thought leadership to contribute to the development of innovative solutions, raise awareness and enhance understanding of Private Asset Classes and FIL’s strategy across ISS and the wider business.
  • Work closely with the program management team responsible for delivering the strategic change required to implement the target operating model to ensure a clear understanding of the strategic operating model design and alignment of activities within connectedprograms of work underway within the broader business.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Private Markets target operating model development
  • Experience of supporting operational optimisation design and delivery programmes
  • Excellent understanding of core European Regualtory Directives (AIFMD, MIFID, UCITS)
  • Experience of reporting and presenting to Board and Committees
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and team-oriented approach
  • Experience of effecting change and identifying efficiencies on different internal processes.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to effectively summarize findings, and clear communication both verbally and in writing to internal audiences and external clients.
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated.
  • Strong stakeholder manager - able to develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including other business lines and corporate functions across the organisation with a range of related third parties.
