Prison Pharmacy TechnicianBand 4/5, Full time 37.5 hours per week Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is a mental health and community trust that provides a wide and growing range of services across the boroughs of Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley. The Forensic and Prison Directorate hold contracts for prisons within Kent and South East London and as part of these contract provides pharmacy services to these prisons.Oxleas Prison Services Ltd (OPS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oxleas NHS Trust set up to provide the pharmacy prison services. Posts recruited to for prison pharmacy are employed by Oxleas NHS Trust and seconded to OPS. Our pharmacy services are innovative and drive medicines optimization within our prisons.We believe in supporting our staff to develop to their full potential.We are currently seeking:A Pharmacy Technician – Prison Services Band 4/5If you are a pharmacy technician wishing to gain experience in working in a prison setting, this post could be for you. The post-holder will provide pharmacy technical services, including medicines management and administration services to a cluster of prisons. You will also work in the busy dispensaries. You will be supported and mentored by the Senior Prison Services Technician.
