A UK based remote Principal Statistician is required to join a well-established team with responsibility for leading all statistical activities relating to clinical trial projects. Areas of responsibility include:Providing statistical expert point of contact with sponsor and internal project teamsRandomisation design, Protocol and sample size consultancyPerforming the Lead Statistician role on varied and complex projects; delivering to client expectations and within budgetDevelopment of Statistical Analysis PlansCovering a variety of statistical consultancy, programming, and modeling based on the awarded work, for example:ISS/ISEMeta-analysisPK/PD and bioequivalence studiesMixed models Adaptive designsSurvival analysisSupporting the development and expansion of statistical expertise Peer review of statistical deliverablesProviding statistical expertise and presentation of results at sponsor meetingsProviding statistical evaluation and reports for inclusion into Clinical Study ReportsGeneral responsibilities include:Advising on statistical issues, expanding the departments knowledge baseContributing to company development of new systems, processes, and SOPsBusiness development expert support - contributing to proposals, contracts, and meetingsAbility to communicate effectively with non-statisticiansExperience and skills required:Strong analytical and data interpretation skillsAdvanced statistical expertise in a variety of area and topicsStatistical programming and modeling with experience across a wide variety of topicsExperience in Integration studies preferredMinimum of 5 years in a CRO environment and an MSc or Ph.D. in StatisticsExcellent project management, organisational and matrix management skills with the ability to proactively prioritise projectsBudgeting and resourcing skillsLeadership and mentoring skillsCommercial awarenessExperience with SAS v. 9 Fully remote working available Required skills
