Principal Electrical Design Engineer£65,000-£75,000 + PackagesOur client is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer with mission critical design experience, preferrably within a Data Centre design consultancy. It is a perfect opportunity for a candidate looking for work within the Data Centre industry and critical environments, with a view to take charge on some of the most exciting projects in Europe.The client is an award winning professional building services consultancy, specialising in mechanical, electrical and environmental engineering, who have completed projects in over 10 locations across Europe alone. A strong sustainability approach and their reputation has grown over the years as a result of continued high profile, high quality projects. The successful design engineer will be working very closely with one of the Directors, delivering on some of the most exciting projects in this industry at the moment.Responsibilities*You will Lead the electrical teams working on projects*Design, manage, test and commission electrical projects*Perform complex electrical system design utilising software packages such as ETAP and Amtech*Develop relationships with existing and new clients with a view to generating sales*Compile and lead client presentations.*Represents the company well in technical meetings with professional teams and contractor teams*Thorough checking of designs and specifications*Provide Guidance to less experienced engineersRequirements*Ideally will hold a relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or similar*Proven experience as an electrical design engineer with expertise gained working on critical environment developments.*Either hold CEng status or be on route to gaining,*Experienced in the use of calculation software such as ETAP and / or Amtech Required skills
