Job Description

A comfortable, enjoyable work space in a large, long standing multi-disciplinary practice have released a requirement for a driven Principal Designer and CDM Consultant to work from either their London or Winchester offices.Projects that the successful Principal Designer will work on are for some of the largest, prestigious construction clients in the private sector. Would suit someone looking to move from a smaller firm into a larger organisation to work on larger schemes.The role of the Principal Designer / CDM Advisor:As the successful Principal Designer / CDM Advisor, your duties will include:

  • Carry out the duties of CDM Consultant and Principal Designer advising the client on CDM2015 compliance
  • Prepare and produce F10 Notifications on behalf of Clients
  • Identify and communicate Pre-construction Information
  • Assist in the compilation of the Health and Safety File, manage systems and progress charts
  • Carry out Health & Safety Site Inspections and Site Surveys
The Successful Principal Designer / CDM Advisor:
  • The successful CDM Consultant should hold the following:
  • NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate
  • Minimum 3 / 4 years experience in consultancy role
  • NCRQ / NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 preferable
  • GradIOSH or above or actively looking to obtain
  • Membership of the Association of Project Safety (APS) preferable
  • A deep understanding of Health and Safety Legislation and CDM2015
