Job Description

Global Pharma, Fully Home Based, Excellent financial package with renowned progression opportunities Your new companyThe business are a mid-sized Global Pharma who are in the midst of expanding their Global Statistics function. Specifically they are searching for a Principal Statistician to join their UK function and become a vital part of their illustrious Late Phase department.Currently, they have one of the most renowned Statistics functions globally which is filled with industry experts across all areas who are continuously searching for novel and innovative Statistical methodologies throughout all studies. Your new role

  • Act as the project lead for Statistical aspects of one of more studies
  • Participate and provide critical input into all aspects of full drug development life cycle such as Study design, Efficacy and safety parameters, SAPs
  • Coordinates with other internal or external biostatisticians and statistical programmers to prepare the statistical analysis
  • Communicate and coordinate all statistical activities with external vendor biostatisticians
  • Key contributor in data review/evaluation meetings as well as other study-related meetings and activities
  • Ensure implementation of company SOPs and regulatory standards
  • Attends study meetings and collaborates with the wider team to meet study timelines
  • Provide support/mentoring to both internal and external biostatisticians assigned to the study
  • Keep abreast with regulatory requirements related to design and analysis of studies.
    • What youll need to succeed
  • Strong experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Experienced working within either Phase II,III or IV
  • Good knowledge within SAS or R programming
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to explain statistical components of a study to non-statisticians
