Job Description

Are you an experienced Primary teacher looking for a flexible, part-time teaching position in a central London locationHorizon Teachers are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school based in Lambeth. This is an exciting, unique role where you will teach across different year groups throughout the week, involving some PPA cover. This is a great opportunityfor someone who is looking for a flexible role and is keen to share their knowledge and experience with pupils across the school.Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative lessons to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes that align with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment that supports positive behaviour and well-being.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to identify and address students needs.
  • Participate in parents evenings and engage in regular communication with parents and families as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance teaching knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Strong experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans for diverse learners.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with a student-centred approach.
  • Show flexibility, confidence, and dedication.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience with assessments and tracking student progress.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
