Our Services:Our Children’s Services are in high demand and we’re growing our team to be able to support more children, young people, families and schools. We work with children between 5-16 yrs in homes, schools and community settings. The majority of our work is focusedaround Social, Emotional and Communication skills development and supporting parents and professionals to find sustainable solutions to challenges. The Role: This is a newly created role within the Leadership Team and you will be able to help shape the organisationas it grows. The Practitioner Team Lead will be working closely with other Leadership Team Members to support the growth of the team, services and oversee the day to day running of the Practitioner Team. This new role is an important part of our future planningand it is likely to evolve and develop together with the organisation. We’re looking for a brilliant individual who is passionate about providing high quality services who will lead a team of experienced practitioners. We want someone who is highly organisedand has a proven track record of developing and running a successful team. We will provide ongoing training and development opportunities, a healthy work-life balance and a team that are self-motivated, resilient and passionate about the work they do. Keyresponsibilities: To lead a growing team of professionals and practitioners. To manage the day to day organisation of a remote team. To provide regular mentoring sessions and lead on group coaching for the Practitioner Team To organise training and developmentopportunities To manage a small caseload; planning, delivering and monitoring interventions of children and young people with complex needs. To liaise with a range of professionals. To work closely with children, families and schools to gather feedback onour services and support ongoing improvement. To work closely with other leadership team members to contribute to the growth and development of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, have had experienceof leading a team in an education, health or social care setting and be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the needs of children and young people with complex needs. We are looking for an individual who can challenge with compassion and provide personalisedsupport to a diverse team.
