The Role My client is a renowned and prestigious organisation that provides strategic insights to corporations. They are recruiting within their business Intelligence & Investigations practice they are looking to add to their Africa team in London. The ideal candidatewill have demonstrated experience covering all communications skills, strong analytical and written skills. Primary Responsibilities:- Work closely with clients to help them identify, understand, and mitigate the risks involved in entering new business relationships throughout Sub Saharan Africa. - Deep understanding of the deeply complex political dynamics within the region. - Conducting research as well as intelligence sourced from word of mouth, and conducting interviews from London and also when travelling. - Client management. - Managing projects as part of a team and individually. - Delivering high quality analysis which is delivered on time and accurately. - Demonstrated experience delivering research in a commercial context would be beneficial. - In addition to native-level spoken and written English, fluency in French and/or Portuguese are an advantage. Essential Skills:- Fluency in written and spoken English; - Excellent drafting and communications skills; - Ability to prepare accurate, concise analytical reports; - Ability to produce a consistently high standard of work under pressure; - Organisational and time management skills, ability to prioritise and manage work on multiple projects to tight deadlines; - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality; and - Ability to lead client engagements and interact with clients directly, professionally and authoritatively. Experience and Qualifications:- Client / project management experience - Experience managing project teams and junior staff - Experience of working with senior executives - Degree in relevant field (International Relations/International Affairs/Security/Economics) - Office Based - Visa sponsorship not possible
