Job Description Plumbing SupervisorRegion: LondonDBS Required: NoAgreement Type: PermanentWork Pattern: Full TimeContracted Hours: 36Grade: PO3SCP Range: £46,053 - £48,063Hackney Council is looking for an experienced supervisor to help us maintain the properties we look after. We manage over 30,000 properties, your role will be to supervise the team of plumbers that helps keep these homes safe and well maintained for ourresidents.As a Plumbing Team Supervisor you will be managing a team of approximately 16 Plumbers, processing work, managing your team’s workload and helping to prioritise when repairs are carried out. You will also do routine inspections before and after jobs aredone to make sure works are completed safely and to a high standard.Your team will be working in residential and community properties across Hackney and sometimes in other areas. Some of which will be scheduled maintenance, as well as providing a response repairs service reported by our residents and service users.You will require a good general knowledge of repairs and maintenance and having a trade background would be beneficial. It is important that you have a technical understanding of plumbing issues and associated works for your team. You should have experiencesupervising a team of building trade operatives, good sound knowledge of general building works, performance management and monitoring of the service budgets and financial planning.You need to hold a full UK driving licence (no more than three penalty points) and access to your own vehicle for business use.
