Job Description

As well as promotingexcellence in compliance, Our clients solution significantly removes friction in the customer experience. The solution will perform state of the art, real time watch list screening using the most advanced technology solutions for list management, alert generationand disposition.Backed by an industry consortium of financial service market leaders and equipped with decades of industry experience and advanced technologies, our clients platform will redefine how compliance can be delivered.Your key responsibilities in this role will include:Be part of the product and technology leadership team and be the on local country senior managerEstablish the Operations centre and be the point of contact for the establishment and scaling of the operations centre.Pre Live: taking leadership of all operational readiness activities to prepare for the successful launch of the platform:

  • Production and maintenance of a detailed operational readiness plan and implementation of reporting to enable tracking of progress against plan
  • Working with the architecture lead to ensure completeness of NFRs and sign off of solution designs
  • Working with Test Lead and Delivery Managers validate that NFRs are met
  • Supporting with the Environments and release management lead to specify and implement the environments required to support operations
  • working with the Environments and Test Lead to ensure completeness of Non Functional Testing
  • Define and implementation of ITSM processes and tooling to support live operations
  • Working with the Ways of Working coach and Product Owners to ensure completeness of the capability backlog including non-functional requirements
  • Work with clients to agree and manage ITSM processes and reporting
In live: Leadership of the operational management of the platform to ensure that it continues to achieve the SLA and performance levels expected
  • Supporting with the Environments and Release Management Lead to specify and implement the release schedule / chair the Change Advisory Board
  • Manage the performance of the delivery partner and resourcing to support platform operations
  • Supporting the delivery partners to remove impediments and roadblocks to providing a world class support function
  • Manage ITSM internal processes
  • Manage service management topics with clients
  • Be the point of escalation for critical incidents / operational issues
  • Work with partners to ensure the on the ongoing performance of each component within the platform
  • Work with Security to ensure the ongoing protection of the platform from threats
  • Continuously seek to improve the resilience of the platform
  • Manage operational support OPEX budget
  • Own the evolution of the Platform Ops operating model
What youll need
  • 8+ Years experience in an Operation Support lead role
  • 3+ years complex Cloud native platform experience including successful launch of a new product or service
  • Minimum of 3 years experience of setting up Cloud native operational support functions
  • Excellent working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, deployment, monitoring and operational support tools
  • Building and maintaining high performing 24/7 Ops Support function
  • Experience of delivery planning and execution including dependency management
  • Managing high availability, low latency, highly secure services
  • Experience of defining key milestone and reporting progress against plan
  • Experienced with a range of Ops Support toolsets
  • Experience of working in waterfall and agile IT development environments
  • Performing strategic supplier management and management of delivery partner resource
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English
  • The following experience is desirable, but not essential:
  • Experience of full software delivery lifecycle from product requirement through to release and support
  • working within an Agile Frameworks such as LESS and or SAFe and adapting to meet the way of working
