Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of South London-based local authority, who are seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their legal department. Please find below further details about the role:ROLE:Planning LawyerLOCATION:South LondonCONTRACT:3 months ongoingRATE:£30 - £40phThe Role*To progress files through to completion ranging in complexity related to Planning and Highways matters*To work on the drafting and negotiation of S106, s278 and s38 agreements*To draft agreements, contracts, pleadings and other legal documents as required*To assist junior members of the planning team with relation to planning law matters The Person*A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 12 months PQE in Planning Law*Someone who has previously dealt with enforcement notices, S106 agreements and all highway policies*Someone with previous local authority experience is desirable but not essential*Someone who comfortable in working independently as well as a teamIf this sounds like an opportunity of interest, please feel free to reach out to Lloyd Stanley on , or email .
