Job Description

This leading Real Estate firm is looking to appoint a Pitch Advisor to join its central Pitch Team based in London. Under the direction of the head of the department, this opportunity will primarily see you work closely with the UK business to advise onMust Win and strategic new business opportunities.The role not only encompasses leading and advising a team for a formal pitch to the client, but can also take the form of a longer term prospecting plan or preparing documents to support a written or RFP response (prior to pitch); to listen to the client, takea brief, understand and develop the proposition, find the best way to communicate a differentiated offer, and rehearse the teams performance, across all service line in all geographies in the UK, often under tight time frames.Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on and advising on selected must win or strategic pitches.
  • Applying the concepts of the firm to help define the pitch strategy and messaging through challenging the team.
  • Working with the local team to identify the best method of delivery utilising a variety of channels, taking the client and culture into consideration.
  • Enhancing delivery performance through facilitating rehearsals.
  • Contributing to the client situation tracker to share knowledge and experience to avoid reinventing the wheel on future pitches.
  • Working on selected projects to help drive change in the business and improve the overall conversion/win rate.
  • Projects are varied and may include one-one coaching sessions, group training and interviewing members of the business to establish current capability and suggesting areas to improve.
  • Facilitating competitive review sessions for specific teams.
  • Champion the BD platform across the business. Monitor Salesforce (Client IQ) to identify high priority pitches and ensure system is updated to reflect pitch progress and capture feedback.
  • Running new joiner sessions, chairing learning lunches and challenging the status quo, sharing client feedback and pitch trends across the business.
You will have a passion for winning and driving continuous improvement in pitch performance - this is critical. Real estate experience is preferred but not essential, but previous experience of working on developing pitch content is essential as is the abilityto be creative and imaginative. Youll have excellent communication skills and able to work with people at all levels, demonstrate a first-rate attention to detail, be able to prioritise and to work effectively with the business to promote key messages. Youllhave experience of working for a corporate organisation and a prior knowledge of working to branding guidelines and of delivering feedback/coaching/training sessions.Leighton Taylor promotes diversity, equality and fair treatment in all aspects of our work.
