This will be a hands-on delivery role, leading the management of highly effective acquisition marketing activity that contributes to the commercial trading performance for Home and Motor Insurance.You will take responsibility of the day-to-day management of our acquisition campaigns, managing performance agencies and collaborating with trading stakeholders.Saga as a business is currently going through a digital transformation and this role will play a key part of that by driving growth. This role will be varied and work cross functionally to implement a data-driven roadmap that drives continuous performanceimprovements.We need you to have experience of working in a fast-paced performance marketing role. You will bring a data-driven approach to campaign management, creative problem solving and be able to implement campaign changes in a timely manner. Main Responsibilities
  • Day to day management of digital acquisition activity, including but not limited to paid search (PPC), paid social, programmatic and affiliates to ensure KPIs and commercial targets are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners, working collaboratively on performance and analysis to identify areas for improvements and new initiatives.
  • Responsible for the reporting and analysis of online marketing channels performance using multiple data sources and market insight, inc. Google Trends, Adobe Analytics, SA360 and SEM Rush.
  • Monitor the changes in market and consumer behaviour using market and competitor reports available, bring insight, problem, and opportunity statements to trading stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Ecommerce and Performance Analyst to deliver regular performance deep dive, setting the foundation of a data-driven roadmap that guide the implementation of campaign test and learn and new initiatives.
  • Support forecasting and bi-monthly reforecasting, providing a view on campaign planning and budgeting that deliver profitable new business growth within set CPA and ROI.
  • Support ATL media planning and delivery, including but not limited to TV, radio and press.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team, Product, and Creative team to ensure alignment of creative and customer value propositions is consistent throughout the customer journeys and reflect the core brand message ‘Experience is Everything’.
  • Supporting wider business initiatives and project work, including but not limited to developing new initiative campaign proposals, supporting the launch of new propositions, and working through performance impact of changes in regulation.
  • Ensure that all customer facing communications and propositions are compliant and meets the standards set out in the Marketing Approvals Process
The Ideal Candidate
  • Knowledge & demonstrable success in a digital marketing role for at least 2-3 years.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with some oversight from management
  • Proven experience of developing multi-channel digital campaigns across PPC, Display, Affiliates and Social.
  • Analytical skills using reporting platforms such as Google/Adobe Analytics
  • Highly effective communication skills and the ability to couple business goals with customer needs and translate into digital marketing roadmap for future activity
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to deliver outcomes
  • Managing and interpreting customer intelligence to enable business improvements
Desirable
  • Experience of Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience of using programmatic networks would be highly advantageous
  • Experience of a digital marketing role within Financial Services sector
