Water is essential to life, so our business is always open.We are seeking an experiencedPerformance Managerfor ourCrossness Sewage Works Sitewith a proven track record of engaging & developing their team; ideally with field-based members. Crossness is the 2nd largest works in thewastewaterestateand is a COMAH site.We would likeyou to be responsible for the following Ensuring the team achieve optimal performance in terms of work management and for developing & introducing new skills &Health & safetyawareness. You will effectively lead the Health andSafety culture of the teamas well as auditing, maintaining and driving improvements to the Health and Safety system & processesTaking the leadand achieving results in a difficult fast paced environment, with a strong focus on good management of health and safety principles.Process Management ensuring site compliance and the site achieves & maintains its required plant availability and reliabilityin order tomeet quality targets at the agreed cost.Financial Managementcontrol of budgetary and financial activities of the teamand driving efficiencies into the overall operational budget.We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has experience in some of the following disciplines

  • Expertise ofmanaging the operational budget with a structured and proactive approach
  • Technicalknowledge of electrical and mechanical principles underpinned by a background in wastewater however, this is not essential
  • Competent inusing IT equipment / systems and be able to interpret complex Excel spreadsheets
  • Proven ability to embrace the application of lean process techniques
  • Process Managementensuring site compliance and the site achieves & maintains its required plant availability and reliability in order to meet quality targets at the agreed cost
  • FinancialManagement control of budgetary and financial activities of the team and driving efficiencies into the overall operational budget
  • Performance Managementyou will be responsible for ensuring the team achieve optimal performance in terms of work management and you will be responsible for developing the team & introducing new skills & Health & safety awareness, workingalongside Team managers
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management - ensuring an exceptional service to the plants key stakeholders with early personal interventions as required
  • Health and SafetyYou will effectively lead the Health and Safety culture of the team as well as auditing, maintaining and driving improvements to the Health and Safety system & processes.
  • The ability to go above and beyond when required asCrossnessoperates 365 days a year and 24 hours a day
