Our client, a leading US Law Firm is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their London-based team on a full-time, permanent basis, working in a standalone role where you will be responsible for all payroll processing and administration for the London officeas well as overseeing one overseas office, whilst being the key point of contact for any payroll queries or concerns from staff members.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience overseeing and managing the payroll function, ideally in a Law Firm or professional services firm.This is an amazing opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to work for an elite Law Firm who are leaders in their field, in a standalone role where you will have independence and autonomy, working at a high level within the business.Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for payroll processing and administration- Key point of contact in London for all payroll queries and questions, as well as one European office- Provide all relevant monthly payroll reports to the team in London and New York- Research and investigate payroll discrepancies- Ensuring time off and overtime records in Workday are accurate, working to correct where necessary- Reconciliation of payroll, monthly journal and reports, end of year processing and any questions from HMRC- Provide information to the Finance team to assist with P11D reporting- Responsible for all benefits administration- Monitor pension enrolment- Provide monthly updates to the firms’ pension providerKey Experience:- A minimum of 5 years’ experience running/managing the payroll function in a large firm, ideally a Law firm or professional services- Ability to work in a standalone role- Workday experience advantageous, although not essential- CIPP qualification advantageous- Ability to liaise with colleagues of all levels within the firmThis is an exceptional opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join an elite firm who are leaders within their field.
