Job Description

A global real estate investment manager is looking to appoint a Payroll Manager to its team based in Central London. The brand-name manager has an impressive track record and has established itself as a key player in the real estate space.The Payroll Manager will have responsibility for the direct management of over ten pay groups (across Europe and Asia), which will include close oversight of anything payroll-related across the entities.Reporting directly to the Finance Director, key areas of responsibility will cover:

  • Management of the outsourced payroll provider across all thirteen pay groups
  • Acting as a key point of contact between employees and external stakeholders (i.e., HMRC, etc.)
  • Production of monthly payroll reconciliations for financial accounts
  • Monthly P11d creation and submission
  • Supporting with the seasonal audit process across the regions
  • Maintaining effective communication with the wider finance team to ensure the delivery of payroll, projects, and cycles
  • Supporting other colleagues in payroll within the wider group where necessary
  • Supporting any ad hoc payroll queries
Requirements include:
  • Proven experience in a payroll manager position is essential
  • Ideally, you will have experience with multi-currency payroll and have worked in a large and complex organisation.
  • Being proficient with Excel would be highly advantageous
